A truly exquisite silver overlay teapot trophy from Wollaston Golf Club in 1910. Wollaston Golf Club in Massachusetts has a storied history. Founded in 1895, Wollaston Golf Club was one of the great early New England golf clubs. It was the site of Francis Ouimet's first ever competition (the 1908 Greater Boston High School Championships), Ouimet's 1913 Massachusetts Amateur victory, and where Ouimet preferred to practice in windy conditions before traveling overseas to play in the British Amateur and Open.
This ornate 1910 trophy stands 5" tall, and is 7 1/2" from spout to handle.
