Until now, a 1911 US Amateur contestant's badge was not known to exist. In fact, despite the fact that the US Amateur started in 1895, only one contestant's badge (a unique 1910 example) was believed to exist until the 1920 US Amateur. For these reasons, we were blown away to discover that a contestant's badge exists from Harold Hilton's victory at the 1911 US Amateur at Apawamis Club. Very few pieces of memorabilia survive from Harold Hilton's 7 Major Championships, but the offered example is as good as it gets.
