And here it is - one of the rarest and most desirable course flags of them all. Pine Valley began using embroidered pin flags in the early 2000s, replacing the earlier screen printed flags. Notice that unlike most other golf courses, Pine Valley still uses flags with grommets rather than the modern slip-on tube flags. This flag is without question one of the finest such examples in the hobby. In our opinion, this flag was either used for one day, or not at all, as it is in mint condition and doesn't show any typical use. It's quite possible that this flag was awarded to a player who got a hole in one at Pine Valley, as that's traditionally the only way a flag makes it off the property.
