This photograph originates from great J.H. Taylor's personal collection, and was originally obtained from Taylor's daughter Phyllis Plumtree.

This is an original cabinet card photograph of J.H. Taylor from a Sept. 9, 1900 match against Willie Norton and R.B. Wilson in Deal Beach, NJ. The notations on the reserve of this photograph (both in pencil and ink) are in Taylor's own hand and include an autograph of the great JH Taylor. 

This overall size of this cabinet card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" (image itself measures 3 5/8" x 4 5/8") and it is in excellent condition.
