1930s Streamliner 3 wood that contains a chrome plated step-down steel shaft. For advanced club collectors, the step-down shaft would soon become commonplace throughout the golf industry, but this feature was revolutionary in the 1930s. The heads of the Streamliner line supposedly gave the golfer more distance while only experiencing 10% of a traditional club's air resistance. "Streamliners sound great in theory, but they did not work in reality (nor were they legal when built)." The Clubmaker's Art by Jeff Ellis.
