Lot Description  

Original letter from Augusta National Golf Club Chairman Clifford Roberts to celebrated journalist John Derr. Derr famously began covering the Masters Tournament in 1935, and reported from 62 tournaments before his death. This 1972 letter discusses the Masters Tournament, as well as British Amateur Champion and longtime Augusta National Secretary Charlie Yates.
