September 1950 letter from General Dwight D. Eisenhower to Augusta National regarding the nearly created "fish pond" at ANGC that we now called Ike's Pond. Ike's Pond was created at the suggestion of Eisenhower, who was interested in being able to fish for bass while staying in Augusta. In this letter, Eisenhower apparently responds to founding ANGC Member Jerome Franklin, who sent Eisenhower photos of the new pond. Signed "DE" on Eisenhower's 5 star general letterhead.
