Lot Description  

Circa 1885 long nose play club by Peter Paxton. Paxton was born in Musselburgh, served as an apprentice under Tom Hood in Musselburgh, and then went to work in England where he made his own clubs. The club is in fair overall condition and contains an early leather face insert. 42 3/4".
