In the early 1930s, just after Jones retired from his amateur golf career, Spalding signed Bobby Jones for the rights to produce clubs bearing his name. Spalding's 1932 Spring and Summer catalog included "Robt. T. Jones" signature clubs for the first time - but only available with steel shafts. Bobby Jones himself, however, only played hickory shafted clubs. Though hickory clubs were then essentially outdated, it turns out that Spalding did make some hickory shafted Bobby Jones clubs.
Offered here is one of those coveted hickory shafted Bobby Jones irons. This is a 7 iron that is in very good condition with a period grip and tight shaft.
