Circa 1992 "Scott" Cameron handmade putter with "T" for Tour and early SCM Crown logo.
In late 1992, the 29 year old Scotty Cameron and his wife Kathy set up Cameron Golf International and began producing the Scotty Cameron Classic line of putters. Cameron also produced handmade custom putters for clients of his budding putter operation. This operation would not last long, as Bernhard Langer won the 1993 Masters with one of Scotty Cameron's putters. Soon a bidding war erupted for the young putter maker's services. Scotty Cameron inked a deal with Titleist in 1994, and the rest is history...
Stamped with the early "T" which stands for "Tour" - a precursor to Scotty Cameron's now-famous Circle T. Also stamped with the early "Scott", not Scotty name. An incredibly clean putter with barely any stamping. Rare original crown logo Royal Grip. Comes with early Scotty Cameron Milled Putters headcover. Likely refinished in 2009 when the COA was issued by Cameron's shop. COA confirms that it was "Made for the tour."
