Very hard to find autograph of legendary golf course designer Harry Colt. Colt's notation on this signed cut is from December 1906 - the same year he teamed up with Charles Alison to form the design firm Colt & Alison. Though Colt was already doing some designs in 1906, the majority of his work (Sunningdale, Swinley Forest, Pine Valley, etc) would come much later. In fact, Colt was still a well-regarded amateur golfer in 1906 and reached the semifinals of the 1906 Amateur Championship. 

Harry Colt's autograph is one of the hardest to find of the great golf course designers.
