Offered here is Ben Hogan's actual used scorecard from famed Seminole Golf Club. This March 19, 1954 scorecard features a round of golf with 1948 Masters ChampionClaude Harmon, and 1937 British Amateur Champion (and Seminole member) Robert Sweeny. Perhaps our favorite part about this vintage Seminole scorecard are the calculations on both sides of the card regarding the betting between the 4 golfers. Can you imagine actually playing Ben Hogan for money in 1954? Hogan beat Sweeny and Harmon by a single stroke that day. but if we're reading the front of the card correctly, the "20 - 20 - 40" notes next to "Ben" means that Mr. Hogan lost their match once handicaps were calculated!
Ben Hogan used to go to Seminole Golf Club for a month to prepare for the Masters Tournament, which is exactly when Hogan played this round. The scorecard originates from Robert Sweeny's estate. 8" x 5 1/8" when unfolded.
