The Kocsis family are golfing royalty, especially in the Midwest. Quite remarkably, three Kocsis brothers all played elite level golf, including in Major Championships. All three are also in the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame. 

Offered here is then-15 year old Emerick Kocsis' 1925 gold medal for being Champion for a tournament held by the Detroit District Golf Association. This 1" x 1 1/2" medal with pin and ribbon is marked  "GOLD" and "Weyhing-Detroit." This medal weigs 13.2 grams.
