Circa 1927 Birdie Colonel golf ball by St Mungo Manufacturing Co. This ball was advertised as having a "concave mesh" pattern, but it's called a "hexagon dimple" in The Story of the Golf Ball by Kevin McGimpsey. This ball is exceptional for a few reasons. It has a beautiful yellow/golden color, and is in high grade condition. The ball also displays small birds next to the name "Birdie"; these birds are not present in other examples we've encountered, nor in the 1927 Birdie advertisements shown in The Story of the Golf Ball.
