Lot Description  

Jack Nicklaus famously won his first professional golf tournament at the 1962 US Open at Oakmont. The tournament was Nicklaus' coming out party - as he dueled fan favorite Arnold Palmer through 72 holes and an 18 hole playoff. This is an original 1962 press photo depicting the winner Jack Nicklaus watching Arnold Palmer in a bunker during the playoff for the 1962 US Open. 6 5/8" x 7 3/4".
