Jack Nicklaus has received countless awards and honors over his career as a professional golfer, but nothing compares to the honor bestowed to him a few years ago. The Royal Bank of Scotland issued a limited number of £5 notes with the Golden Bear's image. The Royal Bank of Scotland has been open since 1727, and Jack Nicklaus was the only living person to ever appear on a Scottish note besides Her Majesty the Queen, and the late Queen Mother.
