Offered here is an incredibly early trophy from Pinehurst. The very first golf course at Pinehurst was laid out in 1897/1898, and Pinehurst's legendary No. 2 was not completed until 1907. 

The offered trophy from "Pinehurst Golf Club" for the "Outlook Tournament" was awarded in January of 1904. 

Though we've sold hundreds of pieces of Pinehurst golf memorabilia over the years, we believe that this is the earliest item from Pinehurst that we've ever offered. 

3 1/4" tall, 83 grams of Sterling Silver. Three handled trophy, though the back handle is missing.
