Offered here is Elaine Rosenthal's actual 1918 Red Cross Liberty Tournament medal from a victorious match against Bobby Jones and Alexa Stirling. Rosenthal was one of four of the "Dixie Whiz Kids" - teenagers who traveled the country in 1917 and 1918 entertaining crowds during World War I - and raising an astonishing $150,000. The most famous was a teenager named Bobby Jones, as well as his fellow East Lake golfers Perry Adair and Alexa Stirling. They were joined by Miss Elaine Rosenthal of Chicago to make up the Dixie Whiz Kids (a 5th golfer, named Watts Gunn, would occasionally join them - usually when Jones or Adair could not attend).

One of these medals would've been awarded to each of the Dixie Whiz Kids for their match played at Montclair Golf Club in New Jersey on July 17, 1918. This medal was awarded to Elaine Rosenthal, who partnered with Perry Adair in a fourball match to defeat the team of Bobby Jones and Alexa Stirling.

The medal is in excellent condition. Engraved "E. Rosenthal" and "Montclair Golf Club" on reverse.
