Lot Description  

This is an original National Golf Day medal featuring Ben Hogan. National Golf Day, which was sponsored by LIFE Magazine enabled golfers around the country to try to "beat" a professional golfer. In 1952, that golfer was Ben Hogan. The medal is engraved "I Beat Ben Hogan May 31, 1952." 1 3/8" diameter. Very good+ condition.
