Phil Mickelson does not autograph golf balls. No, seriously, he simply does not do it. 

A search of our auction records shows that we've sold 169 golf flags that are autographed by Phil Mickelson.

And how many golf balls? Zero...

Well, we finally have one. 

We've known about the existence of this ball for a while now. It was obtained by our consignor himself at the 1993 Colonial tournament when our consignor was caddying for PGA Tour player Blaine McCallister. To our consignor, it was just an autograph - something he had done hundreds of times of the years. The Phil Mickelson autographed ball went in his collection and he never thought much about it again. Only years later did he hear from someone that Phil Mickelson does not autograph golf balls. "What are you talking about. I know that's not true." he thought to himself. 

Phil Mickelson turned professional in the summer of 1992, and he autographed this golf ball in May of 1993. We don't know exactly when Phil Mickelson outright stopped signing golf balls, or why exactly he signed for our consignor that day. But offered here - for the very first time - is an unquestionably authentic golf ball autographed by a young Phil Mickelson. Even better, according to our consignor, Mickelson himself pulled this Maxfli DDH-100 golf ball out of his own bag before signing it. 

Offered here is one of the only chances you will ever have to own a Phil Mickelson autographed personally used golf ball. This ball is being auctioned directly by the only owner this ball has ever had (well, besides Phil Mickelson). We also brought this ball to JSA and they agree - it's 100% genuine.
