Gary Player caused quite a stir a the 1960 Open Championship - with a silent protest that we can all certainly appreciate in 2020. The defending Open Champion showed up at the 1960 Open Championship at St Andrews wearing black and white trousers. This was a protest against the policy of apartheid in his home country of South Africa.

Those original pants worn in St Andrews are currently on display at the South African Hall of Fame. Offered here is another pair framed by The Player Group to commemorate that historic event. Large Gary Player autograph.

*Shipping: This large and heavy framed/shadowboxed item is crated and measures approximately 5' x 5'. Please contact us ahead of bidding for a shipping or transport quote, especially if you live far from our New Jersey warehouse.
