Offered here is one of the most famous golf advertising pieces in existence. “Scottie Dog” was a circa 1920s advertising figure for the North British Twin Dot Golf Ball, and was intended to be a sporting goods store countertop golf ball display. More than one version was produced, this being the early, highly desirable original wood base version. Quite spectacularly, this one even has "North British" on the golf ball in the dog's mouth. Stands approximately 13" tall.
