As far are autographed Bobby Jones photos go, it simply does not get much better than this. This is one of the most well known, yet most elusive photographs of Bobby Jones - posing with his Major Championship trophies (and the Walker Cup) after winning the Grand Slam in 1930. For some reason, 1st generation photographs of this image are extraordinarily rare, and we mainly encounter later, blurrier versions. When 1st generation photos like this come up for auction, even unsigned copies have sold for thousands of dollars.
This is a large, oversized photograph that has an exceptional vintage quality to it. The Bob Jones signatures is exceptionally bold. Photo is in very good condition except for a small paper crease at top left edge and some minor foxing. 13 5/8" x 10 5/8".
