Offered here is perhaps the earliest Tiger Woods autographed magazine cover. This September 2, 1994 Golf World Magazine depicts Tiger Woods immediately after his first US Amateur. Quite amazingly, the late famed golf historian Mark Emerson sent the cover of this magazine (cover only, not the full magazine) to a young Tiger Woods while he was at Stanford requesting his autograph. Tiger obliged, and returned this magazine cover with his autograph. Truly exceptional. The address label even has Mark Emerson's name and address.
