Offered here is a circa 1926 Percival & Whitcombe Patent "Perwhit Putter" with convex blade by Hendry and Bishop of Edinburgh. This unusual putter has an iron head with a semi-circular convex blade. Original hickory shaft with a sheepskin grip. Excellent condition with only minor wear. 

This putter originates from the famed Jeff Ellis Collection, and was featured in his book, The Clubmaker's Art (TCA 1, p. 252; TCA 2, p. 297). This club has not reached the collector market since its sale at the 2007 Sotheby's auction of the Jeff Ellis Collection.
