Offered here is a circa 1924 Robert Forgan & Son "Forganite" wood with a patent avon rubber grip. Conventional bulger head wood formed with "Forganite." The Forganite material was advertised as indestructible. Hickory shaft with patent rubber grip. Very good condition. 

This club originates from the famed Jeff Ellis Collection, and this exact club was featured in his book The Clubmaker's Art (TCA 2, p. 37). This club has not reached the collector market since its sale at the 2007 Sotheby's auction of the Jeff Ellis Collection.
