Offered here is the scarce circa 1902 Black's Patent Double Roller Sole putter by J&A Dickson of Edinburgh. This club was designed to prevent the ground impacting the putting stroke. This club is in excellent condition with original shaft that includes a bold "J&A Dickson Makers Edinburgh" shaft stamp. According to author and noted golf club historian Jeff Ellis, there are only five known examples.
