Offered here is a circa 1895-1900 Willie Dunn one-piece driver. Rather than connect a clubhead and shaft, one-piece drivers were produced from a single piece of wood. These one-piece clubs were only made for a short period of time because they didn't make much practical sense; the slightest damage to the shaft or "hosel" and the entire club would have to be scrapped. 

Unlike some other one-piece drivers, this one proudly displays the "Willie Dunn New York" stamp on the head. This club does not have a face insert like most later models. This rare one-piece driver is in Very Good condition.
