Offered here is a circa 1980s tournament-used set of golf clubs and bag from 18-time Major Champion Jack Nicklaus. The irons (1-PW) are custom Jack Nicklaus irons that exhibit use by Jack Nicklaus, including a phenomenal wear mark on the 7 iron. The bag is also tournament-used. The woods and sand wedge are new and not used by Jack Nicklaus. They were likely added to this bag at some point to "round out the set." 

This set of tournament-used Jack Nicklaus clubs and bag last reached the auction block at an April 2010 Heritage Auction. Since that time, especially in the past couple years, game-used/tournament-used memorabilia has been skyrocketing in value. Golf was, as it always does, lagging behind - at least until we famously sold the Tiger Slam irons for over $5 million earlier this year. We highly recommend that investment-minded collectors pay more attention to tournament-used golf clubs from the game's greats, as we expect values of such golf clubs to escalate dramatically in the coming years.
