Jack Nicklaus has received countless awards and honors over his career as a professional golfer, but one of his greatest honors occurred outside the game of golf. A few years ago, The Royal Bank of Scotland issued 2 million £5 notes with the Golden Bear's image impressively placed upon them. The Royal Bank of Scotland has been open since 1727, and at the time it was issued, Jack Nicklaus was the only then-living person to ever appear on a Scottish note besides Her Majesty the Queen, and the Queen Mother.
This particular note has been graciously signed by Jack Nicklaus.
