This is the famous (and rare) Ping 69BC Scottsdale Croquet-style putter. This putter is legendary for its large shaft bend requiring the golfer to putt croquet-style. The USGA outlawed croquet putting, and these putters are quite rare. To quote Guide to Collecting Rare Ping Golf Clubs by Bobby Grace, "any collector would be in awe at this rarity, especially if they have not seen one." Stamped in the cavity with Karsten Solheim's Scottsdale address - before PING's move to Phoenix in 1966. Very good condition.
