The Golfing Strath Family of St Andrews by David Malcolm & Noel Terry. This is a Limited Deluxe Edition of only 65 copies, this being #58 of 65. Signed by both authors.
The Strath Family (6 brothers, all golfers) were overlooked by the Tom Morris Family in St Andrews. Andrew Strath broke the Morris-Park stranglehold on the Open Championship by taking the 1865 Open Championship title. His brother Davie Strath was thought to be an even better golfer, and was one of Tommy Morris' best friends and frequent playing partner. Davie was runner-up in the Open 3 times before his untimely death at age 30. The Strath Family story is one that every student of golf history should know. Very good condition in slip case.
