In this auction, Golden Age has partnered with Rocco Mediate to present "The Rocco Mediate Collection" of memorabilia and collectibles from throughout his career. Rocco was, and is, a fan favorite on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions. During this long career, Rocco won 6 times on the PGA Tour and 4 times on the Champions Tour. Though already well known in golf circles, he became a household name, endearing himself to fans across the world, during his epic duel with Tiger Woods at the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines. 

Offered here is Rocco Mediate's actual PING B90 putter that was used by Rocco to win the 1991 Doral-Ryder Open. This was Rocco's 1st PGA Tour victory. More importantly from a historical perspective, this was the very first long putter to win on the PGA Tour. Since that time, long putters have become a mainstay on the PGA Tour, but this putter is where it all started. Rocco Mediate was 165th in putting when he famously decided to make the switch. After the switch to this putter, Rocco became a mainstay on the PGA Tour, and this putter singlehandedly convinced other PGA Tour players to give the long putter a try. 49".
