In 1966, Karsten Solheim received an unsolicited letter from Mark McCormack of IMG, who represented Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. A deal was worked out to sell PING putters with the Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player names overseas. [And The Putter Went...PING (2017) by Jeffery B. Ellis].

For Jack Nicklaus putters, PING would send raw castings to Slazenger of England to be finished, shafted, gripped, and then distributed. They would be exactly like to American PING putters, except they would bear the Jack Nicklaus name. PING sent Anser, Cushin, and Kushin putter heads to Slazenger.

According to the PING book, all of the "Nicklaus" Ansers bore a Phoenix address. But offered here is a Kushin model that bears an early Scottsdale address.
