When Rocco Mediate was tied with Tiger Woods after 72 holes at the 2008 US Open, most of the golf world expected Tiger Woods to dominate Rocco during the following day's 18 hole playoff. Instead, Rocco Mediate put up a fight for the ages, endearing himself to golf fans around the world. 

During that epic 2008 US Open playoff, one piece of Rocco's wardrobe went viral - his custom Peace Sign belt buckle.
