Johnny Miller’s final round 63 at the 1973 US Open at Oakmont Country Club is one of the greatest rounds in the history of the sport. It helped Miller erase a six-stroke deficient and propelled him to his first major championship victory. It also set the record for lowest round in a major championship, and to this day, remains the record for the lowest score in the US Open.
To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Miller's historic round, renowned club maker Ken Flanigan custom built this replica set of Miller's clubs. Flanigan worked closely with Miller to build this set to his exact specifications, including lead tape on many of the heads and custom stamping on the short irons and putter. The time and detail put into this set cannot be understated, as this is the finest replica set we've ever encountered.
In addition, the winning bidder will receive a signed letter directly from Johnny Miller (example attached).
