Offered here is an original circa 1930 etching of Bobby Jones celebrating his Grand Slam feat of winning all 4 Major Championships in a single year. This etching by W. Douglas MacLeod was personally gifted to Bobby Jones, and inscribed to Jones by the artist at the bottom. This piece was then personally owned by Bobby Jones until he either gifted or sold it to The Atlanta Museum after its proprietor James H. Elliott, Sr. helped Jones appraise and clear out his Tuxedo Road house in Atlanta when he moved in the 1950s.
Framed to an overall 17 1/4" x 23 1/4", and the etching itself measures 9 3/4" x 13 3/4". Signed by the artist on bottom left, and inscribed to "R. T. Jones, Jr." on bottom left.
