Lot Description  

In 2009, to celebrate PING's 50th Anniversary, a limited run of gold plated putters were produced for the one that started it all - the PING Model 1A. PING used the original mold, and even had the putters produced at a foundry near Karsten's old house in Redwood City, CA. 1,000 of these gold plated putters were produced, this being #96/1000.
