Offered here is a rare pair of original Lobby Cards from the 1931 Bobby Jones "How I Play Golf" series from Warner Bros. After Bobby Jones retired from golf in 1930, the amateur was finally able to cash in on his golf celebrity. He headed to Hollywood, where he filmed a series for Warner Bros. called "How I Play Golf," which was shown in movie theaters throughout the country.

This is the first time that we've ever found original Lobby Cards from "How I Play Golf." Lobby Cards are essentially promotion pieces often given out at the Premiere of a movie. This practice existed in Hollywood for many decades, and Lobby Cards from famous movies are coveted by collectors. Like most Lobby Cards, these measure the standard 11" x 14". They have been framed to 16 1/2" x 19 1/2".
