World Golf Hall of Fame Collection

We have partnered with the World Golf Hall of Fame to bring our clients some important treasures from its collection. Next year the World Golf Hall of Fame migrates to a smaller footprint in Pinehurst, NC after 25 years at its Florida location. This presented a perfect opportunity to share some relics not making the trip to our network of golf collectors around the globe.

Phil Mickelson's 2000 The Tour Championship Scorecards (Tiger Woods Duel) - 17th PGA Tour Win

Offered here are the actual scorecards from Phil Mickelson's legendary 2000 Tour Championship victory over Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods was in the middle of what we now call the "Tiger Slam," having just won the 2000 US Open, British Open, and PGA Championship. To consider him the favorite at the year-ending 2000 Tour Championship would be a vast understatement; it was Tiger vs the field. In the first round, Tiger was paired with Phil Mickelson - as can be seen in one of the scorecards offered in this auction. After the 3rd round, Tiger was leading the tournament - and Tiger famously hadn't lost a 54 hole lead in 20 tournaments - dating back to his rookie season. But somebody forgot to tell this to Phil Mickelson, who birdied 4 times on the front 9 of his final round en route to a -4 66 that would capture the 2000 Tour Championship by 2 strokes over Tiger.

These are the original scorecards from Phil Mickelson's 2000 Tour Championship victory over Tiger Woods. These historic scorecards are being consigned today directly from the World Golf Hall of Fame's collection. This represents a rare chance to own the actual scorecards from Phil Mickelson's 17th PGA Tour win en route to his Hall of Fame career.

Mounted on wood plaque and ready to hang. 20" x 13".
