Presented here is one of the most sought-after major championship winner autographs, though quality examples are very hard to find. "Champagne Tony" Lema rose to fame as a golfer in the early 1960s and famously won the 1964 Open Championship at St Andrews. Lema's promising career came to a tragic halt in 1966 when he and his wife were killed in a plane crash on the way to a golf tournament in Chicago. This is a very rare signed photograph of "Champagne Tony." The photo itself measures 7.5" x 10", and is matted to 11" x 14".
