In 1993, Bernhard Langer won the Masters Tournament using a putter made by a little-known puttermaker named Scotty Cameron. Soon after, a bidding war erupted for Cameron's services, with Titleist being the obvious winner. And the rest, as they say, is history...
Well, after the 1993 Masters Tournament, but before Scotty Cameron signed with Titelist in 1994, Scotty Cameron made his first "victory putter" to commemorate the historic event that changed his life. 930 of these Classic I Augusta Winner putters were produced, with most randomly distributed to accounts that ordered the Classic I from Scotty. Classic I Augusta Winner putters are highly desired by collectors, and this is a rare mint unused example with plastic still on the grip. Comes with its original green "Scotty Cameron Milled Putters" headcover. Condition: 9.8/10. 36".
