Lot Description  

This is an original rut iron made by Andrew Forgan. Andrew Forgan was the younger brother of Robert Forgan - the famous St Andrews clubmaker. This club was made during Andrew Forgan's time making clubs in Glasgow. Because of the Tree stamp on this club, we can accurately date it to between 1893 and 1897. Very good condition.
