Tom Stewart of St Andrews is perhaps the most famous forger of irons in history. He did forge some irons, though most were blades styled similarly to his irons. But offered here is a rare mallet putter by Tom Stewart, and the sole is stamped with Stewart's iconic pipe cleekmark. Stamped on the head by P.H. Boomer, who spent much of his career as a professional outside of Paris.
