Phil Mickelson does NOT autograph golf balls. No, seriously, he simply does not do it.
A search of our auction records shows that we've sold hundreds and hundreds of items autographed by Phil Mickelson.
And how many golf balls? Just one...
Yes, in our entire 17 year history, this is only the 2nd Phil Mickelson autographed golf ball that we've ever found.
Phil Mickelson has famously refused to sign golf balls for approximately 3 decades now. This ball, however, was in the collection of a former PGA Tour player who obtained it directly from Mickelson in the early to mid 1990s. In fact, we spotted the ball in a photograph when the golfer was attempting to show us other signed balls from his personal collection, as he did not know the rarity or value of Phil Mickelson signed golf balls. The ball is a Titleist Professional 100 that contains a wonderful full-name early career Phil Mickelson autograph.
Offered here is one of the only chances you will ever have to own a Phil Mickelson autographed golf ball. This ball is being auctioned directly by the only owner this ball has ever had. We showed this ball to JSA and they agreed - it is a truly scarce autographed golf ball of Phil Mickelson.
