And here it is, the golf tee that started it all. With Dr. William Lowell Sr.'s creation, the modern golf tee finally found its modern design with the introduction of The Reddy Tee. Lowell's stroke of genius was more than just creating the first popular wooden golf tee, it was his hiring of Walter Hagen in 1922 to endorse the Reddy Tee during his exhibition matches. Now over 100 years later, we can look back and see just how ubiquitous Lowell's Reddy Tee design has become throughout the golf world. 

Offered here is a rare original Reddy Tee box with tees. But most Reddy Tees were red. The offered box is a later variation of yellow tees. The box is in fair condition, and it includes 15 original tees.
