Offered here is a highly important circa 1932 Mission Statement document from Augusta National Golf Club. This document outlines the goals for the newly formed Augusta National Golf Club. It refers to the golf course construction by Alister Mackenzie as already underway, but it is clear from this document that Augusta National Golf Club had not yet opened. There are some phenomenal details in this 3 page document, but the best part may be the discussion of membership dues. According to this document, you could join Augusta National for $350 (plus tax) with dues expected to be $60 per year!
