Offered here is an early Titleist, pre-circle T Newport Beach tour putter. Scotty officially introduced the Newport Beach the tour in 96/97. This appears to be a prototype made prior to the later Newport Beach. Has VERY rare stamping T.96 on the face and Tour 96 on the sole. Floating face cut in the sole (to make this a beach).

From Vog: I once owned a putter very similar to this made for E.E. These putters were made for a very specific set of tour players who most often played the old Ping Scottsdale Anser. It was made during a period of time Scotty was VERY busy, and handstamped tour putters were almost totally non-existent. So many tour putters were prototypes made from OTR heads with a lot of handwork.

Refinished and unused, 9.5/10 condition. Includes new/mint Circle T headcover. 35"
