Offered here is #8 of 21 1997 Tiger Woods Masters Champion putter. Scotty famously made, between 1993 and approximately 2004, a limited edition putter for each major championship won with one of his putters. One each for the winning score. However, he also made a smaller number, made from either SSS or GSS, for each year of the age of the winner. Tiger was 21 when he won, so 21 of these were made. Vog told us there was a backstory to this that Scotty told him 2 decades ago.

"Scotty told me that when he had these made, he had 22 made up. 21 to be individually numbered, plus one extra head in case one was damaged or had a defect. The first 21 were to be engraved with the number out of 21 and one head was to be blank. Except, somehow, all 22 were numbered sequentially. Scotty might have reacted like "oh crap." Instead of scrapping all 22 valuable heads, he milled out the number engraved on the toe and then stamped the number by hand." 35". Condition: Near mint 9.5/10.
