Harry B. Wood began collecting historical golf memorabilia towards the end of the 19th century. His collection of artifacts included clubs, balls, medals, and an extensive library was the first great collection of golf artifacts. Tis book, Golfing Curios and the Like, served as a catalog for much of his collection.
